Whenever a guest appears on a show via satellite, the set designers should arrange for a wax dummy of that person to be seated in a recliner next to the monitor. The face would be crafted into a blank, lobotomized stare and a helmet would be fastened to the wax dummy’s head. Finally, a series of wires could connect the helmet to the monitor where the guest appears.
